WE NEED YOU ON OUR TEAM!

As an Associate Software Engineer, you will join Parcel Perform for a 12-month program to build an integration system. The integration system connects Parcel Perform in-house big-data engine with our various partners from global carriers, marketplace platforms to e-commerce merchants. The system ensures Parcel Perform can reach as many data sources as possible, which is strategically important for the company's competitiveness.

When you join the program, you would find yourself in a cross functional team. The team is completed with other developers, business analysts, and QA engineers. Working alongside other professionals gives you the complete view of software development. You get to discuss various whats and hows of the development process.

Each type of integration in Parcel Perform is built in its own scalable microservice. Hence you have the opportunity to work on an state-of-the-art architecture and adopt industry best practices such as pair programming, unit testing, logging and monitoring, and more. The skills you adopt here would be universally applicable in software development of all shapes and forms. It has taken us years to build the system and now we would like to offer you a chance to stand on the shoulders of giants.

The skills

Engineering graduate

Familiar with Python.

Know-how of any MQ as a communication hub. If you start one today, that still counts.

Comfortable RESTful and real-time communication protocols.

Familiar with AWS stack to get the most out of infrastructure.

English communication is a plus.

The mindset

Be responsible for tasks and open discussion, giving questions to build up high-quality products and rich front-end experiences for our users.

Understand Object-Oriented Programming and design patterns.

Willing to learn and research new technology or jump out of your comfort zone.

Passionate about quality and the design of the code, productivity of the work, and maintainability of the result.
