What we are looking for Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field At least 5 years of experience in backend game development using Java Solid knowledge and usage of Amazon Web Services (AWS), including Lambda functions, DynamoDB, GameLift, and third-party service integration Experience with large-scale systems, multiple servers, and auto-scaling Familiarity with Epic Online Services (EOS) is a plus Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams A passion for game development and staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices Where we are going to Design and implement robust backend systems using Java, AWS Lambda functions, DynamoDB, Epic Online Services (EOS), and third-party service integration Collaborate closely with the frontend team, which includes developers working with Unity or UE, designers, and DevOps professionals Ensure smooth integration of EOS into our game’s backend systems and manage third-party services Develop large-scale systems with multiple servers and auto-scaling capabilities using Amazon GameLift (Multiplayer game service) Troubleshoot system issues, analyze errors, and propose solutions to improve performance and reliability Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior team members Collaborate on a project spanning platforms such as Steam, Epic Games, and PS5 What you can expect Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunity to work with a dynamic and supportive team Career growth and development opportunities A collaborative and innovative work environment Happy Hours, Team buildings
