Ascend Technology (current size: around 100 members) belongs to Ascend Group and CP Group, one of biggest group in ThaiLand in financial online payment platform. With the aim to be Technical center of group to build core platform of TrueMoney products. We are now one of the largest financial life platforms in Southeast Asia, growing from just 1 market to 6 markets in a span of 2 years. We currently have significant operations in Thailand, Cambodia, Myanmar, Indonesia, Vietnam, and the Philippines.

We are currently looking for a DevOps Engineer. Be a part of the team, you will:

Worked in container-based technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift. Point team player on OpenShift for creating new Projects, Services for load balancing and adding them to Routes to be accessible from outside, troubleshooting Pods through SSH and Logs, modification of Buildconfigs, Templates, Imagestreams, etc... Worked on developing procedures to automate various systems and tasks (e.g. automating code builds and deployments) using Jenkins, Git, Docker, Ansible, Terraform, Vault, Cloud formation, etc. Good hands-on experience in Helm, writing Ansible playbooks and automating the day-to-day tasks for Test, Development, Staging, and Production environments. Implemented containers to create images of the applications and dynamically provision slaves to Jenkins CI/CD pipelines. Develop Visualizations and Dashboards in Kibana that give rich analytics to data of interest. Managing the OpenShift cluster that includes scaling up and down Pods and Nodes. Administrating the Redhat Capsule for package management and subscription management. Responsible for the day-to-day management of all Development, Test, Stage, and Production for various enterprise applications. Created branches and managed the source code for various applications in GIT LDAP/IDM administration, providing user authentication and resolving various issues including setting replication between the master server and backup server. Worked on Group and User administration, startup & shutdown scripts, Crontab, File system maintenance, Backup scripts, and Automation. Collaborate with architects and application engineers to ensure applications are maintainable, scalable, and follow appropriate disaster recovery and high availability strategies. Provisioning, installing, and operating large scale infrastructure and services with zero downtime (Elasticsearch clusters and Java services) Providing Elastic stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) support and consultancy to the other development teams Monitoring infrastructure and services using Graylog, Grafana, and Prometheus. What you will need (Qualification):

Minimum 1,5 years’ previous experience in DevOps. Experience working on Linux-based infrastructure. Had strong exposure using Ansible automation in replacing the different components of OpenShift like ECTD, INFRA, MASTER, WORKERS NODES,... Experience in working with GIT to store the code and integrated it to Jenkins to deploy. Expertise in configuring and administering FTP, NFS, DNS, Open LDAP, DHCP, and Web Servers like Apache HTTPd, NGINX, and Tomcat in heterogeneous environments. Understanding of Ruby, Python, Perl, Groovy. Experience with MySQL, MongoDB, Postgresql is a plus. Experience with ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana) Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools (Prometheus, Graylog) Excellent troubleshooting. Working knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies, and cloud services Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles Language: Able to use English at work.
