This position belongs to the Company’s central data team. The team is responsible for company-wide projects on data governance, analytics and operations, as well as supporting divisional data teams when necessary. The analytics engineer leverages both data analytics and engineering skills to ensure efficient data operations through data modeling, analysis and the development of data pipelines and supporting tools.

What you will do The candidate will work on cross-division projects related to data governance, data quality, cost management among others. They will work with data analysts, business analysts, data engineers, product owners and other stakeholders to streamline data infrastructure, improve data quality and the efficiency of data usage across the Company:

Building, developing, and maintaining automated dashboards to monitor business and technical metrics; Designing, building supporting products of data quality to ensure data sources are reliable and relevant for the team’s purposes; Analyzing complex data of technical platforms to drive insightful findings and translating them into meaningful, actionable recommendations for our stakeholders; Designing and implementing solutions and best-practices, with automation and scalability in mind, to empower end-users to become self-reliant; Collaborating with internal data team to consolidate requirements, understand needs, and deliver necessary tools; Establishing and monitoring policies to standardize data-related workflow and adhere to regulation. Ad-hoc Reporting & Data Analysis duties or other responsibilities as required. What you will need Minimum Qualifications: University degree (BA, BSc, etc.) in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Management; University degree with quantitative/statistics coursework such as Business, Economics, Marketing, or relevant fields. Key Skills/Experience Required Critical: Sense of ownership, a growth mindset, and the ability to recommend solutions which are scalable; Self-learner and quick to adopt new knowledge and technical skills; Excellent problem-solving aptitude and logical thinking; Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries or programming languages Python; Strong spoken and written communication skills (in both English and Vietnamese); Effectively collaborate within a team as well as work independently. Desirable: Experience with BI/analytics/statistics tools and languages (Google BigQuery, Google Data Studio, R, Python, etc.); Solid technical/functional knowledge in data systems (GCP, AWS, Azure); Data Engineer or Machine Learning Engineer backgrounds are preferred.
