Get to Know the Team
Grabber Technology Solutions (GTS) strives to be a technology leader providing predictive and seamless experiences to all Grab employees (Grabbers). Our diverse hybrid working team of technology practitioners is dedicated to delivering personalized IT experiences. We are looking for individuals who share our customer-centric and values to join our growing team. You will report to the Senior IT Manager.
Get to Know the Role
You will be the primary IT contact within the country, responsible for IT-related support encompassing operational, application, office builds, service delivery, and escalations.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
Plan, organize, control, and evaluate IT operations, ensure compliance with internal service level agreements (SLAs). Collaborate with other teams to develop and coordinate systems, services and procedures. Maintain the security of data, network access, and infrastructure systems. Propose solutions to enhance user experience and refine system functionality. Recruit and coach employees, communicate job expectations, and appraise performance. Provide regular updates to management on workload trends. Assess outcomes and perform quality control to meet cost/performance goals. Evaluate vendor capabilities, monitor performance, and provide recommendations. Ensure inventory accuracy and oversee device management. Support Country IT budget planning and control. Support and collaborate in multiple projects, and audits. Lead changes by bringing clarity, energy, and delivering success.
What Essential Skills You Will Need
IT Operations Management: At least 5 years of experience managing IT operations, including shaping, and evaluating to ensure Service level agreements compliance. System and Policy Design: Ability to collaborate with other teams to develop and coordinate systems, services and procedures. Data Security Practices: Experience maintaining data security, network access, and infrastructure systems. Problem-Solving and Improvement: ability to identify and propose solutions for enhancing user experience and system functionality. Leadership and Employee Management: Proficiency in recruiting, training, and performance management of IT staff. Workload Monitoring: Skills in providing regular updates to management on team workload trends. Quality Assurance and Auditing: Experience in auditing systems to meet cost and performance goals. Vendor Management: Ability to assess vendor capabilities and recommend applicable performance improvements. Inventory Management: Experience managing the lifecycle of corporate devices, ensuring inventory accuracy. Budget Management: Skills in supporting budget planning and control for IT operations. Project Collaboration: Competence in supporting and collaborating on multiple projects, and audits.
