Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Python Engineer with extensive AWS cloud expertise to join our dynamic team at EPAM Vietnam. In this role, you will lead and coordinate a rapidly growing engineering team to design and build complex systems from scratch. If you have deep Python knowledge, exceptional problem-solving abilities and a strong engineering mindset, you are the ideal candidate for this position.

What You’ll Do

Design, develop and deploy scalable backend solutions that ensure high performance and reliability Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements, architecture and implementation strategies Implement and maintain APIs, databases and other backend services, adhering to best practices and industry standards Lead end-to-end application deployment processes, including configuration, optimization and monitoring of infrastructure resources Perform thorough testing and debugging of backend components, promptly identifying and resolving issues Implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline the software delivery lifecycle Stay updated on emerging technologies, tools and trends in backend development, AI and testing methodologies

What You Have

At least 5 years of hands-on experience in developing and designing modern applications in Python Experience with AWS tech stacks: Serverless – Lambdas; SQS, SNS, Fan Out pattern, DynamoDB, API Gateway, CDK, Constructs, IAM and VPC Robust understanding of end-to-end app deployment processes, including deployment pipelines, containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) Experience in working with both SQL (like MS SQL) and NoSQL (like DynamoDB) databases Familiarity with CI/CD, and practical experience with GitHub and Bamboo is desirable Strong understanding of security: authentication and authorization frameworks like OAuth and Auth0 Familiarity with testing methodologies and tools, including unit testing, integration testing, and automated testing Fluency in both written and spoken English (B2)
